OPTIONAL TOUR

For those who wish to broaden their program and become even closer with Russian culture, we offer an additional tour from Moscow to Saint Petersburg.

You will be able to see first-hand the former Russian capital and its mysterious White Nights and winding canals which inspired such literary giants as Fyodor Dostoevsky and Nikolai Gogol. Constructed from scratch on a marshland in 1703 by Peter the Great as Russia’s “Window to Europe”, St Petersburg has seen more revolution, war and political intrigue in its 350 years or so than other cities witness in a millennium. This history is apparent at every turn, from the Aurora warship that signaled the start of the Bolshevik Revolution to the many reminders of the 900-day Nazi siege of the city.

OPTIONAL TOUR

We offer you to continue your journey in the northern part of our country, at Lake Baikal.

Lake Baikal is one of the most amazing destinations in Russia. The biggest and the deepest freshwater lake in the world is located in Eastern Siberia among the beautiful taiga forests and Nordic steppes. The water is so pristine and clean that you could almost drink it while swimming. It feels like an ocean: powerful, deep, raw and embracing at the same time.

Recommended accommodation - “International Sayen”, a designer boutique/hotel, is located in the very heart of Irkutsk.
